Feeder Source Company Policies:

GENERAL POLICY:

Please read the information below. By purchasing from Feeder Source, you agreeing that you are 18 years of age or older and you are agreeing to my shipping terms & policies. All live feeders are shipped by USPS 2 to 3 day priority mail, UPS, or Fed Ex and maybe marked "Live, Harmless, Feeder Insects". After you place your order we will send you a copy of your receipt via e-mail. You may also log in to your account to view your receipt. As soon as you order ships, we will notify you via e-mail. You can also track your packages, review orders, print invoices, and more from “My Account” page at any time.

PAYMENT: We accept all major Credit Cards and PayPal through the website or we can email you an invoice that will allow you to enter your credit card information. We also accept United States Postal Money Orders & Checks via mail. All Money Order & Checks will not be shipped until the payment has cleared, unless you have set up an approved commercial account with us. Please email me for more information about payment via money order, check, or to set up a commercial account.


SHIPPING POLICY:

We ship Tuesday – Wednesday from our facility located in Northeast Georgia.

The cut off time for same day shipping is 12:00pm (noon) Eastern Standard Time.

(some orders may take up to 48 hours to process)

Due to Florida State laws we are prohibited from shipping any Roaches into the state of Florida.

Unlike many of our competitors we offer a variety of shipping methods to meet your needs. We regularly ship using USPS, UPS, and FedEx. We know that many of you prefer one service over the other for your individual shipping needs and that one delivery service may meet your needs or delivery times better than the other so we try to empower our customers and allow you to choose what works best for you

We ship Tuesday – Wednesday from our facility located in Northeast Georgia. It is important to plan your shipping so that your order dose not sit in a shipping facility warehouse over the weekend and it will your live feeder have a greater chance of dying due to the delay in shipping. If your shipment is damaged in transit or for any other reason, do not refuse the shipment. If it is damaged or for any other reason. please accept the package and contact us immediately. Feeder Source reserves the right to place a "hold for pick up" or "switch carriers" on any order to ensure packages are kept in the best available conditions for live arrivals.


WHAT IS THE COST OF SHIPPING

Add your items to the shopping cart and recalculate the cost of shipping on the checkout page. We use live shipping calculators from USPS, UPS, and FedEx to calculate the shipping cost of your order.


DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS:

Please double check to make sure that you have entered the correct shipping address for your selected shipping method. USPS is the only shipping service that can deliver to a P.O. Box. All the shippers will attempt to deliver to the correct address and if you live in an apartment they will not leave your package at the door as a rule of thumb. Please make sure that you are going to be home when your package is going to be delivered or consider sending it to your place of work or to a friend / relatives house that can accept the package for you until you can pick it up.

LIVE DELIVERY GUARANTEE:

All of our feeder insects come with a live delivery guarantee if:

1.) Winter Packaging is chosen when necessary (if <50 and >30).

2.) If transit temperatures (day/night) are not below 30 degrees.

3..) If temperatures are above 90 degrees overnight shipping is selected.

In the rare case if you receive a DOA order, contact us within 1 hour of the delivery and we will work to correct the problem. We do not offer money back guarantees once the order is placed but we will replace the product for you. If you receive a DOA order we reserve the right to choose to resend your order or to add the lost product to your next order. A $4.50 order reprocessing fee may apply to reship your order.

Normal Weather Shipping

(Average temperature is above 50 degrees and below 90 degrees)

Within this temperature range we rarely have any issues with our live products arriving dead, in the rare case that they do arrive completely deal contact us immediately and we will replace your shipment. If only a portion is deal then contact us and we will credit your next shipment with extra product.

COLD WEATHER SHIPPING

(Average temperature is above 30 degrees and below 50 degrees)

Most feeder insects need warm temperatures to survive. When the weather drops into this temperature range you will need to add the Cold Weather Shipping Option. This option typically will run and additional $2.50 per thousand crickets (and we reserve the right to add it if below 50 degrees). If you order feeder in these temperatures when you receive your shipment your insects may appear dead, take them inside and allow them to warm up for an hour or two and often you will see them starting to spring back to life.

EXTREME COLD WEATHER SHIPPING

(Temperature is 30 degrees)

We cannot offer a live guarantee for shipment where the temperatures reach this low. Please wait until the temperature threshold is above 30 degrees.

HOT WEATHER SHIPPING

(Temperature is above 90 degrees)

Overnight shipping much be selected for our live guarantee and your shipment will be held at the shipping center for pick up when they come in to ensure the best chance for live arrival.

RETURN POLICY:

Returns: Any consideration of a "return" will be at the sole discretion of Feeder Source. Since we deal with live feeder insects we do not accept returns. If your order falls under our guaranteed live delivery terms you will be issued a credit or the product will be reshipped weather permitting. There are no cash or monetary refunds, only store credit.
